Launcing Ceremony : From IACLE to SCOP

Here are some of the photos we have all been waiting for! The formerly known student centre, IACLE has now transformed to ever-so-lively SCOP! Biggest appreciation goes to those involved in ensuring this redesignation a success. All of you have certainly worked your magic! Alhamdulillah :)

IACLE used to be so empty but now every wall is hung with pictures of Jom Cek Mata programme (JCM).

The idea of IACLE Redesignation has been voiced out during a meeting and promptly made as one of OPTIMIST projects. This year, eventually witnessed how the idea has become a reality to all of us. Syukur! 

Aside from installing a few new furnitures such as student's locker, ping pong table, printer and so the list goes on...we have also decided to change the name IACLE to SCOP because IACLE actually stands for an organization named International Association of Contact Lens Educators. 

The new name Student Centre of Optometry or SCOP is more appropriate to be used for a student centre as it brings true meaning for a place where students from different batch gather together and socialize with one another. One step closer to build ukhuwah among Optometry students perhaps? InshaAllah :)

Thank you again and let we assure you that this newly-transformed SCOP will be in reliable 
hands as we will each take responsiblity in making sure every facility provided will be in perfect condition and it will also be used for the utmost benefit of our department leadership.
That explains why we have this duty roster now...
