MOSSE 2014

Greetings!

13 & 14 September 2014 have witnessed the fourth historical Malaysian Optometry Students Sports Event (MOSSE) that took place at Management & Science University (MSU). There were quite a number of participants from other universities this year like UiTM, UIA, UKM, TwinTech, ToNEH and MSU the organizer itself.

We have sent 34 athletes and have fully entrusted them to bring back medals for our beloved UiTM. As it turned out, the luck was ours. Our athletes did not disappoint us at all but they did us proud instead by bringing back seven gold, three silver and three bronze medals. By seizing 7 gold medals in total, UiTM Optometry students have easily won the title champion for MOSSE 2014!

We were very delighted to hear the news and were very proud of our athletes because they still managed to be the overall champion despite how little time they had for themselves to actually practice before the championship started. Congratulations!

For those of you who did not get to experience but wished so badly to be there on that victorious moment, here are some pictures for you to atleast feel a tinge of pride for our athletes.

Last but not least, we would like to apologize for the delayed entry update for MOSSE 2014. To compensate for the delay, here's an inspiring quote for us to ponder upon.

"Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination and a hard-to-find alloy called guts"
- Dan Gable
