Festival Mega Sports of Health Sciences Edition 4

Greetings!

Festival Mega Sports of Health Sciences Edition 4 or better known as FeMo's E4 has officially set its curtains down last Sunday, 10th May 2015. This mega sports festival was organized by the Nutrition and Dietetics's Student Association (NADA) and was held for a week from 4th May to 10th May 2015.

The opening ceremony was held on Monday, 4th May 2015 at Padang Kawad. All of the competing associations in the faculty of Health Science were seen in their own respective uniforms. Our Optimist team was seen in blue that night.

At the end of the closing ceremony last Sunday, the final result was announced. Optimist team managed to place 4th out of 8 competing teams. We lost to MELTECH, PPPCK and NUSA with the total medals of 16. Out of 16 medals, we won 4 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze medals.

Even though we could not maintain our position as the Top 3 this year, it did not mean we were not going to double up our efforts for winning next FeMo's. As quoted by Vince Lombardi. "It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up!" Go! Fight! Win! Optimist! Let's upgrade those silver and bronze medals to gold medals!

Joyful times always go hand in hand with congratulations and the opposite always go hand in hand with work harder! To medal recipients, congratulations for your achievement and contribution to Team Optimist! To those who did not win, "It's okay, it's alright come on Opto fight, fight, fight!" There is always next time. Make good use of the time you have now and always remember this,

"If you can pick up after this crushing defeat and struggles, and go on to win again, Insyaallah you are going to be a champion again." - Madam Elly Liyana

We would also like to thank the non-athlete members of Optimist for giving your full support and commitment throughout FeMo's Edition 4! Make sure you yell louder next year! Not to forget, to our perbarisan team, we owe you a BIG thank you! It was a very creative and unthinkable performance that night. We couldn't be more proud of you Power Rangers! Opto. One. Two. Hah! Every single member of the team should take credit for the efforts shown
